Yellow Sponge Colony
This is a small colony of yellow sponges. They can be found growing on the rocks of the reef where they feed on plankton. These sponges feed by drawing in water through their many pores. The wastewater is then pumped out through the large opening in the center. Sponges are found on coral reefs all over the world in a variety of shapes and colors.
