Map of Jupiter
This planet-wide map of the planet Jupiter was created from a series of images taken by NASA's Cassini spacecraft as it passed Jupiter on its way to Saturn. The map was created from 36 separate images and represents the most detailed global map of the planet ever produced. The map shows a wide variety od clod features, including the brown and white bands, the famous great red spot, and several smaller whit spots. Many of the clouds appear in streaks and waves due to continual stretching and folding by the strong winds and turbulence.
